"Labyrinth", an installation made to the Alzheimer Foundation, León, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Concept and production: Kraft Ernst
Organization: Ingrid Rosas, Accord Art Gallery, León
.
"The labyrinth as a metaphor for life and its intertwining of thoughts, memories and emotions, has been the starting point of the installation, the brain not only displays a visual resemblance to the labyrinth , its performance is comparable. Suffering from Alzheimer's syndrome can be interpreted as hopelessly lost the paths of past and present. Not that the memories are lost, or losing the argument, the affections, is that the patient struggles to get and hold onto the thread that leads you into hiding.
The phenomenon of the maze, always laced with metaphors about life, the universe, "memento mori" or the Way of the Cross, is an organism, the road network is a maze, city, neighborhood, office, home, bedroom, computer, brain, and within the brain: more mazes. Cuando caigan sus frutos, cuando se abren las cáscaras, las nueces recrean y repiten infinitamente su origin into maze maze ...

is that when you are born as a nut and shell say goodbye, let him go wandering around in murky water as a miniature sailboat, do not choice but to walk the trails carved into your being ...
the path is the challenge (to find the center light, a blessing). Each crossing leaves us two options, each option involves other ... impossible to see the whole, only to judge the consequences of every decision up to the top of the walnut, but by the laws of gravity, struggle to falling nuts up ...
