Educating for competence is an invitation to review ways of learning and teaching and is a new model whose priority is to learn to do, learning to learn, learning to be and learn to live with that constitute the main challenge for education at this time. The inclusion of basic skills in the curriculum has several purposes. First, integrating the different learning, both formal incorporation in different areas or subjects, such as informal and formal.
